neurofibromatosis cafe

A place to talk about NF, have fun and share.

I’m looking forward to another great time in Burton Texas.  Camp For All. The first day of camp is September 5-7th. Everyone who is going should have all there information submitted by now. I hope so.

Again this year The Texas Neurofibromatomatosis Foundation is having their annunial NF Family camp.  Again we are going to have a terrific time meeting our friends from last year, and I know we will make new friends this year as well. Horse back riding swimming games and more.  The best part is meeting new friends and sharing stories. It’s going to be a great one and I hope to see you there. Who knows you may see someone playing his music with his newly formed band. I’m not saying you will have to come and see.  Some you know might play the autoharp. Just maybe.

  1. I will be there as usual. Hmm the photos look familiar. Several folks are arriving in Dallas on Thursday, and one flying in on Friday morning, then will car pool to camp. Keeping an eye on the weather, mostly the weather out on the gulf, hopefully the storm will be over and done with by this time next week. Regardless rain or shine, we will have a great time at camp.

  2. Yea I do hope we are not affected by the storm. Looks kind of worrisome. We will have to wait to see. So for the photo its from flickr Neurofibromatosis.

  3. Of all the 17 years of camp, it only rain one time in 2002. Started late Friday evening (after camp fire) and last Saturday morning and around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, the sun came out and was able to enjoy swimmin and boating. So pack a umbrella or rain coat, just in case. Rain or shine, we still have camp and a great time.

  8. 48 hours to camp, count down begins. Everything looking good. 20 will be gathering at Olive Garden in Irving on Thursday, not all will be going to camp, but getting together anyway. I think the ones who are car pooling from here are going to meet at K-Bobs in Brenham before heading to camp, not sure of the time or if myself and passenagers will go there. Anyway…will look forward in seeing you all at camp.
