  2. I will be there again and being the photographer, there will be plenty of pictures. One already drove to Dallas from Arkansas, two or three are flying in to Dallas today. This evening, planning all to go out to eat, probably at Don Tomorrow, a young man will be drop off in Irving, then we will caravan to camp, stoping in a town north of Waco to pick up two people. This will be my 13 years of camp. Did I say 13, I hope we will have good luck, no rain.

  7. thanks Reggie that would be great but the only downfall is the food there I can not have anything with wheat I am allergic to wheat it makes me feel really bad if I accidently eat something with wheat so that would be the only downfall for me going to camp

    Comment by Brian | September 6, 2007 | Reply

  8. I will testify to that. Cabins are cool. The cabins are ac in the summer heater in the winter. Each cabins can sleep 12, 3 people can shower at the same time, 3 can do what they need to do, while another 3 can use the shink. Those who came to the old camp, one one shower stall, one restroom, and one shink. The camp also handicap accessible vs the other camp was not.

They are so nice and they get involved in the games and just the time there great. My friends have been talking to me for two or three years about comming to the new camp. You get meals cabin space cold juices tea anytime you want it. Horseback riding swimming arts and crafts and a lot more. You will have fun.

  34. Yes, you can come for the day, Saturday, and enjoy the same activities as the rest. I do not know the cost of this. You would want to come early, arrive by 8:30 in the morning. Activities starts at 9am. I think next year, will do the group pictures at that time, rather than 1pm since it may be cooler at 9am.

  45. Earlier I said..”If the trend continue, Texas NF Camp is usually held the weekend after Labor Day. So, in 2008, Camp will be September 5 – 7, 2008.”
For some reason, when I said this, it will change. I just received a note from the Texas NF office, the dates tentaatively set for September 12 -14, 2008 a week later than what it is. I will ask about this is this fact.

    Comment by John P | September 23, 2007 | Reply

  46. I also received a note about the camp dates. Any one of the two will work for me.

Comment by Reggie Bibbs | September 23, 2007 | Reply

  47. The new dates will cost me two vacation days vs one vacation if the regional dates planned continues. Also on that particular Saturday, 13th I will have hard time to get that one off.

    Comment by John P | September 23, 2007 | Reply

  48. I brought this to the Texas NF attention on the dates, they will get back with me on that. Lets hope it will be the orignal dates, weekend afer Labor Day (Sept 5 -7), 2008

    Comment by John P | September 27, 2007 | Reply

  49. Lets hope they keep the same dates. Why are they changing the dates any way.

Comment by Reggie Bibbs | September 27, 2007 | Reply

  50. It could be a oversight, in the past 3 years, thinking the camp fell on the 2nd weekend, so she just look at the 2nd weekend on the calendar and saw 12-14, instead the weekend just after Labor Day. In 2008, Labor Day (1st Monday) will be Sept. 1. So we should be on the dates I mentioned Sept 5-7, 2008. We can not break the tradition, I can not recall the dates before Camp For All, I think the last several years at Camp Camp it fell on the weekend after Labor Day.

  51. to Comment 44. Yea I remember that. Even thought you stayed close to the sides. Its funny now that I think about it. At the time I wasn’t to fund of that. The cook out was fun.
